Стандарт визначає експлуатаційні характеристики та вимоги безпеки для всіх типів внутрішніх жалюзі, що встановлюються в приміщеннях. Основна увага приділяється захисту від механічних травм та ризиків, пов'язаних із петлями шнурів керування.
При проведенні аудитів безпеки робочих місць перевіряйте наявність пристроїв для фіксації шнурів жалюзі та наявність маркування щодо ризиків удушення для запобігання нещасним випадкам.
